ALIXIR Degreasing Cleaner is a high-performance, heavy-duty cleaning solution engineered to remove deep-seated grease, oil, and fuel residues. This advanced formulation is specifically developed to penetrate porous surfaces, lifting stubborn stains and industrial grime from within the material without damaging the surface itself.
The water-based, biodegradable composition delivers powerful cleaning with low odour, making it suitable for both internal environments and external hardscapes. It is an essential treatment for the deep preparation of stone and concrete surfaces prior to applying treatments. Whether used neat for severe oil spills or diluted for general cleaning, it ensures a thorough clean while remaining safe for the environment.
How
it works
ALIXIR Degreasing Cleaner works by breaking the bond between the surface and the contaminant. Its specialised formula penetrates deep into the pores of the substrate to surround oil, grease and grime particles, lifting them into a liquid state that can be easily rinsed away. This deep-cleaning action restores the natural appearance of the material and ensures the surface is chemically clean and ready for a protective Alixr treatment.
Application Instructions
Always test a small, hidden area first to confirm suitability. Apply neat for severe contamination or dilute up to 1:10 with water depending on the level of cleaning required.
Apply by brush or spray and allow the formulation to penetrate the ingrained dirt or grease. For heavy contamination, agitate the surface vigorously with a stiff brush. Rinse the area thoroughly with hot water or remove residues with a wet & dry vacuum. For confined areas, use a water and scrubbing brush.
Do not allow the product to dry on the surface during the cleaning process and always consult the MSDS before use.

Coverage Rate
Figures are approximate and provided as a general guideline. Actual consumption is determined by how porous the surface is and the severity of the stains:
Intensive Cleaning (Neat): Approximately 3m²/Litre
General Cleaning (Diluted): Approximately 10–20m²/Litre

Equipment Cleaning
Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a dry place, away from frost and heat, in a temperature between 5°C and 35°C. Shelf life is 24 months from the production batch date when kept in the original unopened container.
Recommendations & Curing
Do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours. For optimal results on heavy oil or grease stains, mechanical agitation helps lift contaminants from the pores of the substrate. Do not apply during rain or frost, or when surface and air temperatures are below 5°C or above 30°C. Once the surface is fully decontaminated and dry, treat with ALIXIR Stone Protector to provide long-term protection against future oil and fuel penetration.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if feasible. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention.
